What happens if you have multiple G5 teams or Notre Dame undefeated


Would the number of neutral site games expand? I guess I could just see logistical issues with trying to schedule a neutral site game on short notice. Also, I am not sure ESPN would be thrilled with the uncertainty on the number of teams from year to year given the TV contract would be in place for multiple years.

Don't get me wrong, it is an interesting idea and I think it could work. However, the devil is in the details so I am not sure if all parties could make it work. Also, I do think all parties would use it to just permanently expand the Playoffs to 8 teams.
